Takachiho Gorge is a valley formed by the volcanic eruption of Mount Aso in ancient times. The Manai Falls, with a drop of 17 meters, is a spectacular view with cliffs towering on both sides.
A walking path of about 1km has been developed along the canyon. Enjoy a stroll through the natural beauty of Takachiho Gorge.

Aso Volcano
Mount Aso is one of Japan’s most iconic active volcanoes. With its remarkable caldera landscape, it is one of the few places where visitors can see an active volcano up close. Peer into the crater from up close and watch white plumes rise, experiencing nature’s immense power and breathtaking grandeur.
Mount Aso Kusasenri
At Kusasenri on Mount Aso, cattle and horses graze around a central rain-fed pond, creating a picturesque landscape that changes with the seasons. Stroll through this endless grassland spanning 20,000 hectares and refresh yourself with the crisp mountain air!
Aso Volcano Museum (Admission fee 1100 JPY, at your own expense)
Overlooking the vast grasslands of Kusasenri, the Aso Volcano Museum explores Mount Aso’s landscapes, geology, plants, and wildlife. It preserves many interesting materials for understanding the history of Mount Aso. Discover how Mount Aso formed through a giant three-dimensional model, and explore fascinating exhibits on volcanoes in Japan and around the world. Inside, you can also watch live footage of the Nakadake crater transmitted by a state-of-the-art camera system.

1) Those who have a hangover or have consumed alcohol on the day of the tour may not participate.
2) Children aged 0-2 can participate for free if they do not require a seat.
3) Child safety seats are not available.
4) Individual bookings from customers under 18 years of age are not accepted.

5) The price for children who require a seat is the same as for adults.
6) Seniors aged 70 and over must confirm that their health condition is suitable for travel and must be accompanied by a relative or friend aged 22 or older for the entire duration of the trip.

1) We will send you information regarding the driver, tour guide, and vehicle via email at around 9:00 PM on the night before departure. Please check your inbox and spam folder. Also, please ensure that your phone is reachable.
2) The tour guide will be waiting at the meeting point holding a yellow "GOGODAY TRAVEL" flag, so please provide your booking name to join the tour. Please arrive 15 minutes before the meeting time. Please note that there will be no refunds for late arrivals or no-shows.
3) A staff member who can speak Chinese, English, or Japanese will accompany the tour, but please be aware in advance that they may not be a native speaker of your language.
4) As this tour is designed for international visitors, the language used is primarily intended for an international audience. Important information such as meeting times will also be provided in Japanese.

9) If you have a history of motion sickness or seasickness, we recommend that you take preventive measures in advance.
10) The tour schedule may be changed or cancelled due to weather, traffic conditions, etc.
