Miyazaki City Phoenix Zoo & Florante Miyazaki
Miyazaki City Phoenix Nature Zoo keeps 1,200 animals of about 90 species, including "Africa Garden" with giraffes, zebras, and ostriches, "Chimpanzee Forest" with chimpanzees in groups, and "Flamingo Village" with flamingos in groups. Animal events are held every 30 minutes from 10:00 to 16:00 daily, and the Flying Flamingo Show and elephant walk and commemorative photo (held only on weekends and holidays) are popular. Florenté Miyazaki is an urban park where visitors can enjoy living with flowers in all four seasons as a "base for promoting the creation of a city of flowers.
