"The only place in Kyushu where you can enjoy puppet theater!!" Seiwa Bunrakukan consists of three buildings: the stage, seating, and exhibition, and was built using the best of Japan's traditional architectural techniques. The seating building in particular was built using the "Kibasen Kumite" method, which applies the principle of leverage, and the ceiling of the exhibition building was built using the "Bat Method," which is a regular dodecagonal structure. It looks beautiful and exudes the warmth of wood. Local tayu and puppeteers perform 200 times a year.
