The concept is "an experiential museum where you can fully enjoy the Kanmon Strait.'' You can learn about the history, culture, and nature surrounding the Kanmon Strait through all five senses, from exhibits, videos, music to food and drinks. The exterior of the building on the sea side looks like a glass sailing ship, and the building on the mountain side is characterized by an Art Deco-style architecture called "Retro Box.'' Not only the scenery, but also the image of the Strait Atrium projected on one of the largest sail screens in Japan that runs through the second to fourth floors.
