Since its opening in 1989 as the symbol of the Asia Pacific Exposition, Fukuoka Tower has provided a panoramic view of Fukuoka City and Hakata Bay below. For its 30 year anniversary in March 2019, the entire building was renovated to its current state. The main features include a time-lapse movie that allows visitors to enjoy the view regardless of the time of day or weather conditions, a photo spot where visitors can take memorable pictures with the stunning scenery in the background, and a stamp rally in the observation deck that anyone can enjoy.
