Set against the backdrop of Munakata-Oshima, said to be the birthplace of the Tanabata legend, we have created five experiential activities under the title "Munakata Oshima Five-Colored Journey," representing faith, nature, and human interaction with five colored strips of paper. This particular experience, representing white, will allow you to participate in salt making with Mr. Kawabe, also known as "Salt Grandpa," from Oshima Village Store, who handcrafts and sells salt from scratch. The experience will cover the entire process, from an explanation of salt making to making salt and eating rice balls with the salt you made.
