10:50Kamisumi Kumanoza Shrine (40min)
“Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine” features a fantastic approach with about 100 lanterns. It is also known as a sacred place for the famous anime “To the Firefly Forest,” and many tourists from all over the world visit it. As you climb the approach, a mysterious atmosphere spreads as if you have wandered into another world.
12:20Amanoiwato Shrine (1 hour 10 minutes together with Tenyasu Gawara)
“Amanoiwato Shrine” is a shrine dedicated to Amanoiwato, which is said to be the origin of Japanese mythology. According to mythology, since Amaterasu Omikami, the god of the sun, hid in Iwato, the world was shrouded in darkness and fell into crisis, Iwado was opened according to the plan of the gods, and light returned to the world.
“Tenyasu Kawara” is located about a 10-minute walk along the Iwato River from Amanoiwato Shrine Nishi-Hongu. When Amaterasu Omikami hid in Iwato, the large cave is a quiet, solemn, and mystical space where it is said that 8 million (yayorozu) gods gathered on this riverside and were sacred.

Takachiho Gorge is a valley formed a long time ago by the volcanic eruption of Mount Aso. Cliffs rise on both sides, and Manai Falls, with a height of 17 meters, is spectacular.
There is a walking path of about 1 km along the gorge. Please enjoy a walk in the nature of Takachiho Gorge.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the meeting time. Please note that there are no refunds due to late arrival or unauthorized cancellations.
3) Staff who can speak Chinese, English, Japanese, or Korean will accompany you, but please be aware that they cannot necessarily guide you in your native language.
4) Since this tour is a plan for people from overseas, the guide language is mainly for overseas visitors. Important notifications such as meeting times will also be announced in Japanese.
